About

Wine is my deepest passion.

One of the aspects that fascinates me the most is the fact that every single bottle is a new discovery, a new experience.

No bottle is the same. It tastes differently to different people and at different moments. This depends not only on the different tasting buds, but also on the different experiences, judgment and mood.

All features that are also dynamic, given the fact that once exposed to air, wine tends to change and our mood and experience to get influenced by the human interaction with the people we are enjoining wine with. Alcohol being an additional factor.

Wine tasting has in itself a seriousness (in the analysis and judgment) and a lightness (in the pleasure and euphoria) that fascinates me and represents how life should be approached.

I personally like to go and see where wine is produced and interact with the people that make it. Once I know better about a wine and a producer, the appreciation of what I taste changes.

In the last few years I’ve been tasting, reading and visiting the major wine producing places and some of the minor ones.

Let’s share some experiences and thoughts in the posts.

Enjoy!
