Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Boscarelli 2020

The colour is medium garnet. On the nose cherries, tea leaf and coffee. In the mouth very elegant, fresh with drying tannins. The aftertaste is tasty and rather long.

This Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is made with 85% Prugnolo Gentile, 8% Colore, 5% Canaiolo and 2% Mammolo grapes.

ÉO Noir 2021

The colour is deep ruby. On the nose red berries, plums, mocha and cream chocolate. In the mouth well balanced, with a sweet finish. The aftertaste is pretty long.

This wine is made by Staatskellerei Zürich under the Vin de Pays Suisse denomination. It is a blend of 53% Gamaret and 47% Merlot. The wine matured for 14 months in barriques. Continue reading “ÉO Noir 2021”

Orma 2016

The colour is deep ruby. On the nose blackberries, blueberries, plum. In the mouth well integrated tannins, concentrated, powerful. The aftertaste is pretty long.

Orma Toscana IGT is the name of the first wine produced by the estate of the same name. It is made from 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc grapes in Castagneto Carducci (Bolgheri) since 2005. Continue reading “Orma 2016”

The colour is deep ruby. On the nose cardamom, cumin, menthol, dried prunes and sour cherries. In the mouth a good balance between the structure of the tannin and the freshness. The aftertaste is medium long.
